Search for Missing Child on Phoenix Trail Ends After School Discovery, Fire Department Confirms

PHOENIX — A 3-year-old boy reported missing on the Shaw Butte Trail in north Phoenix was quickly found safe at his school, authorities confirmed. Firefighters from the Phoenix Fire Department mobilized multiple rescue teams early Tuesday morning to search the area.

Upon investigation, it was revealed the child was never actually lost. The swift response underscored the department’s commitment to safety and community assistance.

In a related incident, the Phoenix Fire Department also provided aid to a man who injured his knee on North Mountain earlier that day.
