Cops Nab Alleged Robber at Glennwilde Home After Taser Showdown

Maricopa police arrested a man accused of assaulting and robbing a woman in her apartment during a confrontation on Monday.
Kasey T. Martin, 41, of Glennwilde, allegedly broke into the woman’s rental unit in Hampton Edison while she and her children were present.
Upon encountering the intruder, the victim reported that Martin assaulted her and stole her car keys.
Police located Martin at his residence on West Sussex Drive. When informed of his arrest, he responded defiantly, “No, I am not,” as officers attempted to place him in handcuffs.
According to the police report, Martin resisted arrest, prompting officers to deploy a knee strike and subsequently use a Taser to subdue him.
He was eventually taken into custody without further incident and booked into the Pinal County jail.
Martin faces a range of charges, including robbery, burglary, criminal trespassing, and resisting arrest. Additionally, he is charged with three counts of domestic violence-related disorderly conduct and one count of assault, potentially facing up to 34 years in prison.
