PCC’s Kiley Sours-Miller Honored as NJCAA National & ACCAC Conference Player of the Week

Pima Community College’s Kiley Sours-Miller is making waves in the women’s basketball scene. The freshman post player was recently named NJCAA Division II Player of the Week for the period of January 19-25, adding to her accolades as the ACCAC Division II Player of the Week for the fifth time this season.
Sours-Miller’s performance has been noteworthy, with an impressive average of 17.0 points and 14.5 rebounds per game during the highlighted week. Her shooting percentage stood at an impressive 53 percent, totaling 17 successful shots out of 32 attempts. Additionally, she contributed defensively with six blocks, two steals, and gathered 17 offensive rebounds, playing a pivotal role in the Aztecs’ victories over South Mountain and Glendale Community College.
Having participated in 20 games this season, Sours-Miller has started in 18 of them, maintaining an average of 16.6 points and 9.8 rebounds per game. Currently, the Aztecs are ranked No. 8 nationally and will face a challenge tonight against No. 5 Mesa Community College at the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium. The game is set to tip off at 5:30 p.m.
