Arizona Community Foundation Opens Nominations for Philanthropic Champions

The Arizona Community Foundation is calling on the residents of Sedona and the Verde Valley to help recognize exemplary individuals and nonprofit organizations within their communities. Nominations are now open in several distinguished categories.

The categories for nominations include:

• Philanthropist of the Year
• Nonprofit Organization of the Year
• Volunteer of the Year
• Business Benefactor of the Year
• Community Collaborator of the Year

Submitting a nomination is straightforward. Interested parties can find more information and complete the nomination online by visiting azfoundation.org/sedona. The deadline for nominations is 5 p.m. on Friday, February 14.

Awards will be distributed during the Spirit of Philanthropy Awards Celebration, scheduled for Sunday, April 6. This event will take place at Steps to Recovery Homes in Cottonwood from 3 to 5:30 p.m. While registration has not yet opened, updates will be available on the foundation’s website.
