Az Health Dep't Unveils Innovative Website for Comprehensive State Health Data

The Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) has unveiled a new website aimed at enhancing public access to health data. This platform, known as the Public Health Data Portal, is designed to serve as a comprehensive resource for data collected by state officials.
According to ADHS, the portal promotes easy access to vital public health information, including recent reports on births, an action plan to combat diabetes, and data regarding state-operated hospitals. The site features a variety of tools such as maps, data dashboards, and search functionalities, enabling residents to compare health information effectively.
“The Public Health Data Portal marks a significant advancement in our mission to improve data accessibility and transparency,” stated Wesley Kortuem, an ADHS analyst, in a Thursday announcement. He expressed confidence that the portal would be a valuable asset for those seeking to understand public health dynamics in Arizona.
Among the updates, the portal provides the latest statistics on diseases like COVID-19, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), and flu, in addition to dashboards highlighting suicide and drug overdose rates statewide.
The Public Health Data Portal is now live for users at the official ADHS website.
