Maricopa’s Ace Hardware, known for its “red-vested heroes,” has recently received national accolades for its outstanding customer service. The store secured a top position in Forbes’ 2025 list for Best Customer Service in the home improvement category.

Owner Dave Karsten emphasized that this recognition aligns with their mission. “We certainly strive to be the best at customer service and, historically, we have,” he noted. He added that it is gratifying for customers to appreciate the efforts of his dedicated staff.

The recognition stemmed from a national survey by Forbes, which placed Ace Hardware in the top 1% of brands for factors including staff helpfulness and problem resolution. Out of 3,500 surveyed companies, the store ranked an impressive 34th.

Karsten believes that the local touch sets his business apart from the larger retail operations entering the area. “When it comes to quality service and personal interaction at the checkout, our neighbors in Maricopa trust their local Ace Hardware,” he remarked.

In addition to the exceptional customer service, the store is also known for its grilling supplies, such as charcoal, wood chips, and a variety of spices and rubs, further enhancing its appeal in the community.
