New Year’s Baby: A Joyous Arrival for Valley Family

MESA, Ariz. — A local family rang in the new year with joy as they welcomed their newest member just minutes after midnight.

Mother Patricia Ramos expressed her happiness, stating, “I feel very blessed for becoming a mom for a second time. Jose Alvarado Leobardo has a little brother waiting for him at home. I wish everyone a fabulous year.”

Ramos gave birth to a healthy baby boy named Jose at 12:18 a.m. on New Year’s Day at Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, according to a news release from Banner Health.

Barbara Edwards, Nurse Director at Banner Desert Medical Center, reflected on the special occasion: “Welcoming a baby into the world is always a privilege, but to do so as the clock strikes midnight on New Year’s Day fills us all with immense joy and hope. We are honored to be part of such a memorable experience for this family.”
