Wholesale Bakery Celebrates Major Milestone Achievement

Phoenix-based commercial bakery Strictly From Scratch is gearing up to celebrate its 30-year anniversary in 2025. Since its inception in 1995, the company has transformed from a distribution enterprise into a leading bakery known for producing a diverse array of sweet and savory breads and pastries for wholesale markets.

Today, Strictly From Scratch operates from a sprawling 95,000 square-foot facility and employs 180 staff members. It has established itself as a preferred provider for a wide range of clients.

Founder Rudy DePaola emphasizes the bakery’s commitment to quality. “We strive for excellence and consistent results while prioritizing our customers’ needs,” he noted. He believes in learning from mistakes and continuously improving processes.

Over the past thirty years, this approach has propelled the bakery to significant heights. With a client base exceeding 800, it ranks among the top 20 bakeries in the nation and is a major supplier to the airline industry.

Strictly From Scratch delivers between five and eight semi-truckloads of bakery products weekly, catering to national retail giants such as Walmart, Trader Joe’s, and Costco. Their product range includes an extensive selection of breakfast items, desserts, and various breads.
