State Sen. Anthony Kern Hospitalized Following Serious Car Crash

Senator Anthony Kern of Arizona’s District 27 sustained injuries in a vehicle accident while traveling in South Dakota. The incident occurred during a snowstorm, causing Kern’s vehicle to lose control on icy roads. The senator was accompanied by a friend, and both were transported to local hospitals for medical attention.

According to Kim Quintero, the communications director for the Arizona State Senate Republican Caucus, Kern is currently hospitalized in Rapid City. He is being treated for broken bones and other injuries but is reported to be in stable condition. Kern is able to communicate with his family as he recovers.

Arizona Senate President Warren Petersen confirmed the details of the accident in a post on social media, urging prayers for a swift recovery.
