GLENDALE, Ariz. — A fire at an apartment complex near 75th and Glendale avenues has led to the displacement of 20 residents and the tragic loss of a dog.

Emergency crews responded to the scene Sunday afternoon after reports of flames engulfing the two-story structure. Firefighters from Glendale, Phoenix, and Sun City assisted Rural Metro Fire in controlling the blaze.

Upon arrival, crews discovered the building ablaze and initiated an evacuation. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported among the residents.
