Say Sushi, a well-regarded Japanese restaurant located in the Maricopa Market on John Wayne Parkway, has been put up for sale by its owners. Antonio Guerrero, a broker with RE/MAX Fine Properties, confirmed that the restaurant is listed as a “Turn-Key Sushi Restaurant” on LoopNet.

Guerrero shared insights about the restaurant’s operations. “They’re owner operators, open four and a half days a week,” he noted, adding that while the business is profitable, the owners are considering retirement.

The establishment, which was recognized as the best sushi bar in Maricopa this past August, is currently listed for $295,000 and boasts a gross revenue of approximately $1.1 million. According to Guerrero, there is no specific timeline for the sale, although interest has already been expressed from a potential buyer who faced recent financial challenges.

“The interested party is still very invested,” said Guerrero, mentioning the prospective buyers plan to relocate from another state. InMaricopa has reached out to the owners of Say Sushi for further comments.
