Since its inception as Northgate Bowl in 1962, the bowling alley at 12th Street and Dunlap has undergone significant transformations. Originally named Sunset Bowl, the venue witnessed several ownership changes and interior upgrades throughout the 1990s. Stacy Anderson took the reins in 2010 and rebranded it as Let It Roll, revitalizing the popular establishment.

Marianne Donnan, the director of business development at Let It Roll, showcased recent enhancements during a tour of the venue. Among the latest additions is Stacy’s Hideaway, a private room designed to impress.

“This is our new ‘wow’ room that we’ve just started marketing,” Donnan stated.

This space can be rented for $199 for two hours. Equipped with multiple TV screens, a pool table, and a private bar, it offers high-top tables and couches. The adjacent outdoor patio complements the indoor setup, accommodating roughly 75 guests, making it ideal for gatherings. The center also features additional private areas and new VIP spaces, perfect for social media enthusiasts.

Convenience is key for guests, who can order a diverse menu from King Pin Pizza & Grill via new touchscreen kiosks without leaving their lanes. Beyond bowling, the venue embraces an entertainment-centric approach. Guests can engage in various activities, including video games, pool, or enjoy happy hour at Stacy’s @ Dunlap Bar, which often features live music and karaoke.

On select nights, the stage transforms into Lenora’s Comedy Club, honoring Anderson’s late mother. The heart of the center remains its 32 bowling lanes, catering to league veterans and novice bowlers alike, while offering community groups the opportunity to host events.

Despite the modern updates, certain features, like the vibrant murals that glow in the dark, will remain untouched. “That’s part of the history here at the alley,” Donnan remarked. “That’s something he’ll never touch.”
