Arizona Dad Discovers Intruder in His Home Plotting to Kidnap His Child

An Arizona man heard a noise and found a stranger in his home. The stranger then allegedly tried to kidnap his child.


PAGE, Ariz. — The Page Police Department has issued a warning to residents following a disturbing incident in which a man attempted to kidnap a child from a home on Friday evening. Authorities have urged the community to remain vigilant and ensure their homes are secured.

Officers were dispatched to a residence near 7th Avenue after receiving reports of an intruder. The homeowner, who was occupied on a phone call in another room, heard unusual noises and found an unknown man seated next to his child.

Upon confronting the unknown individual, the father ordered him to leave. In a shocking turn of events, the suspect allegedly attempted to grab the child. The father swiftly intervened, striking the suspect, who subsequently fled the scene on foot.

Police later discovered blood near the front entrance and initiated a manhunt. The suspect was located nearby, attempting to evade capture but was ultimately arrested. He bore injuries consistent with his altercation with the child’s father.

Although the suspect has not yet been publicly identified, police confirmed he was taken into custody and booked at the Coconino County Jail.

The Page Police Department emphasized the importance of safety, advising residents to stay alert and verify visitors before opening their doors. They reiterated the need for parents to monitor the whereabouts of their children at all times.
