Unleash Fun at Wag ’n Walk: Bring Your Dog for a Day of Adventure!
SEEDS for Autism, a developmental program designed for young adults, will host its Wag ’n Walk event on Saturday, Nov. 2. The gathering kicks off at 10 a.m. at the SEEDS facility located at 3420 S. 7th St., #8, in Phoenix, and welcomes friendly dogs, their owners, and the community.
Attendees can look forward to a variety of activities complete with prizes, including a pet parade, pet tricks, and a pet fashion show. In addition, the event will feature a unique opportunity to create a “Pet Pawtrait” and explore a marketplace showcasing local vendors and crafts made by SEEDS participants.
The first 30 participants to register on the SEEDS for Autism website will receive their choice of an event T-shirt or a bandana for their pet, adding an incentive to join the fun.
“Walking your dog positively impacts both your health and that of your pet,” stated SEEDS director Mary Ann LaRoche. “This fundraising event offers a fantastic marketplace filled with diverse items for both pets and their owners.”
LaRoche emphasized that the event is family-friendly and open to everyone, whether they have dogs or not, featuring contests, prizes, a raffle, and snacks for all attendees.
