Affordable Health Screenings Now Available
Abrazo Health is set to offer low-cost AngioScreen heart and stroke risk screenings at various locations across the Valley in October and November. These screenings aim to detect potential artery blockages and other crucial heart health concerns.
The AngioScreen exams are quick, lasting only about 10 minutes, and evaluate the circulatory system in neck and ankle arteries. They also assess heart rhythm, blood pressure, and overall fitness. Priced at $59, the screening package includes a Quick Carotid Ultrasound, a simple EKG exam to check for atrial fibrillation, an extremity circulation check for peripheral vascular disease, a blood pressure assessment, and a private consultation with a clinician. While the screening results can inform discussions with a doctor, they are not a substitute for regular medical check-ups.
In the North Central area, screening dates include October 22 at Abrazo AZ Heart Hospital, located at 1930 E. Thomas Road (2nd Floor Classroom), and November 7 at Abrazo Central Campus, situated at 2000 W. Bethany Home Road (Wellness Center). For a comprehensive list of screening events, visit the official Abrazo Health website. Interested individuals can register by calling 844-721-4068.
