Person Shot in Shocking Rideshare Incident in West Phoenix
PHOENIX — A shooting incident in west Phoenix early this morning left one person injured while using a rideshare service. According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS), the shooting occurred just before 3 a.m. near I-17 and McDowell Road.
The victim sustained a gunshot wound to the leg. Currently, there is no update on their condition. Authorities have not revealed the circumstances that led to the shooting.
