Havasu Art Guild’s Fall Expo: Community Rallies Behind Local Talent!

The Havasu Art Guild is set to kick off its new season with the Fall Expo this Saturday. After a seasonal hiatus, the local arts community will reunite, showcasing a variety of artwork crafted over the summer months. President Jan Klatt highlighted the excitement surrounding this event, stating, “We’re looking forward to seeing the latest creations from our talented members.”
This year’s expo promises to be especially vibrant, featuring the participation of 21 artists, one of the largest turnouts in recent memory. “It’s always intriguing to see what the artists have prepared for this first show of the season,” Klatt added, noting the event’s role as both a showcase and a social gathering.
Visitors can explore a diverse array of offerings, including jewelry, handmade cards, and unique home decor. Additionally, the expo will feature paintings in oil, watercolor, and acrylic, appealing to various tastes. The positive feedback from previous attendees keeps the community engaged, with many expressing their enthusiasm for new art pieces.
The Fall Expo will take place at the Mount Olive Lutheran Church Friendship Cafe at 2170 Havasupai Blvd, running from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Following this event, the guild has scheduled a Holiday Shoppe in November and its Winter Expo in January, leading up to the 46th annual Art at the Lake in March.
Klatt expressed gratitude for the community’s ongoing support: “We recognize the range of events in Havasu and appreciate every audience member who chooses to attend our exhibitions.” Those interested in seasonal finds are encouraged to visit and support local artists this Saturday.
