One Injured in Monday’s Palisades Drive Shooting Rampage

A Lake Havasu City man is currently hospitalized in stable condition following a shooting on the 2300 block of Palisades Drive. The incident occurred Monday afternoon, prompting immediate transportation of the victim to Havasu Regional Medical Center by a private vehicle.

Upon their arrival, police officials initiated an investigation at the scene. Crime scene investigators have been deployed to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

“It’s still early in the investigation,” stated Lake Havasu City Police Sgt. Kyle Ridgway, emphasizing the need to piece together the events. Their objective is to uncover what led to this violent episode.

This incident marks a significant escalation, occurring just a day after a fatal shooting on Barranca Drive. In that case, police believe a homeowner mistakenly shot a resident, thinking he was an intruder.
