Uncover the Secrets of Historic Preservation

The Sunnyslope Historical Society is set to host an informative event titled “Let’s Preserve Sunnyslope for the Future” on Saturday, October 12, at 11 a.m. The gathering aims to engage the community in discussions about historical preservation.
Helana Ruter, a Historic Preservation officer from the City of Phoenix, will lead the session. Attendees can expect insights on how properties are designated as historic, the functions of the City of Phoenix Historic Preservation Office, and ways in which the community can contribute to preserving the unique character of Sunnyslope.
The event will take place at the Sunnyslope Historical Society and Museum, located at 737 E. Hatcher Road. Those interested in attending are encouraged to RSVP. For further details, individuals may call 602-331-3150 or check the organization’s website at www.sunnyslopehistoricalsociety.org.
