8 Enchanting Fall Festivities to Experience This Weekend and Beyond

As Halloween approaches, events in Maricopa are set to provide residents with plenty of thrills and chills. From family-friendly activities to spooky festivities for adults, there’s something for everyone.

One highlight is The Roost’s Halloween Bash, running on Friday and Saturday nights at 20800 North John Wayne Parkway. This event features costume contests each night with $100 prizes up for grabs. The fun begins at 11 p.m., complete with DJ Dance and Karaoke nights to showcase your dance moves and vocal talents.

Molly’s House of Little Feet is hosting its annual Trunk or Treat on Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. at 16540 North Porter Road. This event caters especially to younger attendees, featuring decorated cars, costumes, and plenty of candy.

Little Whiskers Animal Rescue brings its Sixth Annual Trick or Treat event on Saturday at 17590 Shea Way, running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The festivity will include food trucks, carnival games, and opportunities for pet adoptions, ensuring a day full of activities.

Pet owners can also take part in EarthWise Pet’s Costume Contest at 20924 North John Wayne Parkway on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event allows attendees to dress their pets in costumes, with food vendors and Halloween goodies for dogs available on-site.

Maricopa’s YA Fall Fest will take place at 45295 West Honeycutt Avenue from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday. Designed for young adults aged 18 to 30, it offers an evening of worship, games, and community building.

For those seeking a spine-tingling experience, the Mysterious Mansion Mayhem Bus Tour will guide participants to Maricopa’s haunted houses. Tours are scheduled for Friday at 7 p.m. and Monday at 5:30 p.m., departing from 44345 Martin Luther King Boulevard. Tickets are limited, so interested guests should act quickly.

Central Arizona College is set to host its Halloween Bash on Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. at 17495 North Regent Drive. Students can participate in a costume contest and enjoy games, dancing, and craft activities throughout the evening.

The festivities culminate with the Pacana Park Pumpkin Walk on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at 19000 North Porter Road. This annual event will feature local vendors around the lake and showcase entries for the pumpkin decorating contest. Children are encouraged to dress up and enjoy the evening’s offerings.
