The Arizona Department of Public Safety has identified the victim of a fatal collision that occurred on Wednesday as 61-year-old Randy Nourse from Lake Havasu City. The tragic incident took place around 6:30 a.m. near milepost 187 on State Route 95, involving Nourse’s motorcycle and a passenger vehicle.

According to Media Relations Specialist Bart Graves, Nourse was riding in the righthand lane when the vehicle in front of him began to slow down for a right turn. Unfortunately, Nourse lost control of his motorcycle, which led to him being separated from it and subsequently sliding into the rear of the vehicle.

Lake Havasu City Fire Chief Peter Pilafas reported that Nourse was transported to Havasu Regional Medical Center following the incident. Despite medical efforts, Nourse was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The driver of the vehicle was treated for minor injuries and released at the scene. Graves stated that there were no indications of impairment for either driver involved in the accident.
