5 Products Rated ‘Excellent’ Steal the Spotlight
Food inspectors from the Pinal County Environmental Health Department conducted recent visits to various food establishments, including two schools and a food bank, all yielding excellent results. On November 5, inspectors evaluated Leading Edge Academy and Legacy Traditional School, followed by assessments at Gyro Grill and Roots Eatery three days later.
This week, the inspectors returned to evaluate the F.O.R. Maricopa food bank. Notably, no violations were recorded at any of the five locations, which all received an “excellent” rating.
The ratings signify compliance with health standards. An “excellent” rating indicates all priority standards were met. If a location receives a “satisfactory” rating, one or more standards were not met; however, all issues were corrected during the inspection. A rating of “needs improvement” suggests that while some violations were noted, at least one violation was not corrected during the visit. Locations rated “unacceptable” face serious health hazards, including the potential for foodborne illness or unsanitary conditions.
Overall, the recent inspections reflect a commitment to food safety and public health across Pinal County.
