3 Rushed to Hospital After Shocking Porter Road Collision

Three individuals were hospitalized following a two-car collision at North Porter Road and Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway on August 9, 2024.

Responding to the scene at approximately 9:30 p.m., Maricopa police and fire departments assessed the situation. A city spokesperson, Monica Williams, provided updates on the incident.

At 10:15 p.m., a white Toyota sedan with front-end damage was still located in the intersection. The second vehicle had already been removed by that time.

There were no serious injuries reported. Nevertheless, three people were transported to the hospital as a precautionary measure. The affected roadway has since been cleared and normal traffic flow resumed.
