2 New Restaurants This Month Wow Health Inspectors

Maricopa welcomed two new establishments this week as both Mandy’s Wine Bar and Farmers Restaurant successfully passed their inaugural health inspections. This achievement underscores their commitment to food safety and quality since they began operations on September 12.
Mandy’s Wine Bar, located on Smith-Enke Road, and Farmers Restaurant, found in Hidden Valley, were evaluated by health inspectors on September 23 and received an “excellent” rating. This designation reflects compliance with all priority health standards.
Additionally, Fry’s Marketplace underwent a comprehensive inspection process on September 17 and 19, scoring an “excellent” rating across various sections, including the retail area, bakery, deli, and Starbucks. Remarkably, the inspection revealed no deficiencies.
Understanding these ratings is essential. An “excellent” score indicates full compliance with health standards. A “satisfactory” rating suggests that one or more priority standards may require attention but were corrected during the inspection. The “needs improvement” category highlights non-compliance issues that remained unresolved during the examination, necessitating a follow-up. Lastly, an “unacceptable” rating points to serious health risks, where immediate action is necessary to rectify hazards that could jeopardize public health.
