2 Children Injured in North Valley Collision, Authorities Report
PHOENIX — Two children were involved in a pedestrian accident in the North Valley area on Sunday, authorities report. The incident occurred near Gavilan Peak Parkway and Shadow Glen Way in Anthem.
According to Daisy Mountain Fire and Medical, both children were transported to a local hospital but are expected to recover from their non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver remained at the scene, and preliminary investigations indicate that speed and impairment were not factors in the crash. No further details have been released by officials at this time.
