1-Month-Old Baby Miraculously Discovered in Busy Colorado Road Median
On Christmas morning, a one-month-old baby boy was discovered in a car seat along the median of Pecos Street in Adams County, creating significant concern among the local community.
According to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO), a 911 call was received around 9:20 a.m. after a passerby spotted the infant, who was only dressed in a diaper. Emergency responders promptly arrived at the scene.
The baby was transported to Children’s Hospital as a precautionary measure, ensuring his safety and well-being.
Meanwhile, detectives initiated a thorough search of the surrounding neighborhood, inspecting for any surveillance or Ring doorbell footage that could provide clues regarding the child’s parents. They also engaged with local residents to gather information.
In an effort to locate the family, the sheriff’s office shared images of the car seat on social media just before 3 p.m. This outreach aimed to generate leads in the case.
By 4:30 p.m., officials reported that they had made contact with family members of the baby. The investigation is ongoing, with the potential for criminal charges pending further findings.
