Authorities arrested a 34-year-old woman and sent two men to the hospital after a disturbing incident at a rural intersection in Hidden Valley.

The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office responded just before noon to reports of a vehicle parked at Ralston and Farrell Roads, where multiple individuals were unconscious inside.

Witnesses described the scene as alarming, with one resident claiming that three people appeared to be overdosing. This incident highlights ongoing concerns, as drugs were cited as the leading cause of unnatural deaths in Pinal County last year.

According to spokesperson Sam Salzwedel, “Two men were transported to a hospital,” while another man managed to leave the scene independently.

Monique Vasquez was medically cleared and then booked into the Pinal County jail on a warrant originating from New Mexico.

Public records reveal that Vasquez faced charges in 2023 for attempting to bring contraband into a jail.
