Rich Vitiello expressed gratitude to the voters of Pinal County following his election as the new supervisor for District 1 during a watch party held on November 5, 2024. In his message, he emphasized the importance of voter participation, stating, “Casting your ballot is one of the most important things you can do.”

Vitiello acknowledged his opponent, George Arredondo, for running a commendable campaign, highlighting the shared goal of representing the community’s interests. He reassured voters that, regardless of their political affiliations, he is committed to serving everyone in the district.

“Politics can sometimes be messy,” Vitiello noted, adding that he intends to prioritize honesty and accountability in his service. He positioned himself not as a politician but as a public servant, committed to keeping the promises he makes.

The newly elected supervisor also congratulated fellow elected officials, including Sheriff-elect Ross Teeple and State Representatives Teresa Martinez and Chris Lopez, noting their commitment to the community. Vitiello recognized the challenges faced by candidates during the election period, emphasizing the resilience of those who participated.

As he prepares to take office in January, Vitiello expressed optimism for the future, acknowledging the hard work and dedication of the voters who made their voices heard in the recent election.
