Tucson KIDCO Opens Registration for Upcoming School Year This Monday
Tucson’s Parks and Recreation Department is set to offer its KIDCO after-school program for children aged 5-11. The program will run from school dismissal until 6 p.m., providing a structured environment focused on a variety of activities.
Registration for the upcoming school year opens on Monday, July 15, at 8 a.m. Parents can secure a spot for their children through online registration available on the Tucson Parks and Rec website. A detailed list of participating locations is also accessible online.
KIDCO aims to engage children in sports, games, nutrition, fitness, arts and crafts, and performing arts. The initiative strives to offer a comprehensive after-school experience. However, it will not operate during city or school holidays and breaks.
The cost for city residents is $500 per school year, while non-city residents will be charged $625. Payment plans are offered, and Tucson residents can apply for discounts. It is important to process any discount applications before registration to qualify.
