Tragic Collision on I-10 in Phoenix Claims Woman’s Life, Authorities Report

Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers responded to the eastbound ramp to Interstate 10 at 59th Avenue at 11 p.m. on Saturday.

PHOENIX — A woman is dead after allegedly being hit by a vehicle in west Phoenix, authorities said.

Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers were called to the eastbound ramp of Interstate 10 at 59th Avenue in Phoenix to investigate a fatal pedestrian alleged hit-and-run crash.

DPS said the person who was hit and died was a woman. They do not have a vehicle description.
