Tragic Accident in Avondale: Child Struck and Killed by Alleged DUI Driver While Crossing the Street

AVONDALE, Ariz. — A tragic accident occurred Monday night in Avondale, resulting in the death of an 11-year-old child. The incident took place near the intersection of 107th Avenue and Thomas Road, prompting a swift police response.

According to the Avondale Police Department, preliminary investigations indicate the child was crossing the road when a vehicle entered the intersection and struck them.
