Three Fresh Faces Boost FPRAZ Board Dynamics
Friends of Public Radio Arizona (FPRAZ) has welcomed three new members to its board: Rita Bostick, Dan Sloan, and Kathleen Weber. Adriane Youngblood, chair of the board and regional director at Clear Channel Outdoor, made the announcement. These leaders share a commitment to enhancing public radio’s quality and accessibility across Arizona.
Bostick, a retired banking executive, has championed local NPR stations for over half a century, citing the importance of impartial news. Sloan, the chief technology officer for Jenni Kayne and Oak Essentials, appreciates KJZZ for its news coverage and enjoys classical pieces on KBACH. Weber, serving as vice president and assistant general counsel for JPMorgan Chase, brings a wealth of experience in business law and mentorship to the table.
FPRAZ aims to ensure the future vitality and quality of public radio in the community. The organization asserts that public radio serves as a crucial tool for education, inspiration, and enhancing public discourse.
