Survey Reveals: WZ Fries Crowned Best Rice in Maricopa!
Local diners in Maricopa are gravitating towards WZ Asian Bistro when it comes to fried rice, as revealed by a recent poll conducted by InMaricopa involving 355 participants. Over 25% of those surveyed expressed a preference for the establishment’s diverse fried rice offerings, which range from roast pork to chicken pineapple.
WZ Asian Bistro, a pan-Asian chain with twelve locations across Arizona and New Mexico, opened its Maricopa branch last fall. This establishment outperformed others in the area, including Li’s Garden, which became the second choice for about 20% of the respondents. Li’s Garden is renowned as the city’s original wok restaurant.
Asian Seoul’s Copa Kitchen, originally a food truck, ranked third in the poll with approximately 17% of the votes. Panda Express followed closely, securing 15% of the total votes. This California-based fast-food chain has two locations in Maricopa, including one on John Wayne Parkway and another planned near the new Home Depot.
On the lower end of preferences, fewer than 10% of voters favored the fried rice at Thai Chili 2go. An even smaller percentage—only 8%—rated Say Sushi’s fried rice option highly. The poll indicates a clear preference for WZ Asian Bistro among Maricopans seeking a satisfying bowl of fried rice.
