Sunny, breezy with a side of 70s!

PHOENIX — A shift in weather patterns is set to bring a warming trend to the Valley, with temperatures reaching the lower 70s for both Wednesday and Thursday. Meanwhile, the High Country will experience cooler conditions, with highs lingering in the 40s and 50s following a particularly chilly morning.

A disturbance is forecasted to pass through Thursday night. This could lead to slight rain chances in the high terrain, including the foothills north of the Valley. Following this system, temperatures will dip again by Friday, with weekend forecasts suggesting Valley highs in the lower to middle 60s. Early next week, a continued decline in temperatures is expected, with highs around the low 60s.

Here is the seven-day weather forecast:

WEDNESDAY: 72/42 – Sunny & pleasant

THURSDAY: 74/46 – Increased cloud cover, slight rain chance for high terrain

FRIDAY: 67/46 – Partly sunny & breezy

SATURDAY: 65/41 – Mostly sunny & cooler
