Stay FCC Compliant in 2024: Essential Help for Radio and TV Members

Radio and TV members: Let us help keep you in FCC compliance next year!

The Arizona Media Association is offering a valuable service to TV and radio stations to ensure they meet FCC compliance standards.

The service, known as the Alternative Broadcast Inspection Program (ABIP), involves a thorough inspection by an FCC-trained inspector. Typically, the inspection takes two days. The AMA absorbs most of the expenses except for a nominal $100 fee per station to secure the inspector’s time.

During the inspection, station staffs receive education on all FCC rules. Additionally, the inspector audits station practices to ensure adherence to compliance standards, aiming to prevent any potential FCC infractions and fines. Registration for a 2024 inspection is now open.
