How did Simone Biles, Jordan Chiles do in floor exercise finals?

Simone Biles continued her streak of historic achievements during the final gymnastics event of the Paris Olympics.

PARIS, France — In a remarkable display at her comeback campaign finale in Paris, Simone Biles astonished spectators with an exceptional floor exercise routine.

Biles secured her 11th Olympic medal during the floor finals on Monday, earning another silver. This remarkable achievement occurred just hours after she experienced a mishap on the balance beam during the event final.

Rebeca Andrade narrowly took the gold in the floor exercise, finishing just .033 points ahead of Biles.

Sporting a new uniform and with a renewed focus, Biles clinched her fourth medal in these Paris Games.

This event carried significant historical implications for Biles, possibly marking the last competition of her storied Olympic career.

At 27, Biles now ties Czechoslovakia’s Vera Caslavska for the second-most Olympic medals by a female gymnast. The only person ahead of her remains the former Soviet Union’s Larisa Latynina, who holds 18 medals.

Her teammate Jordan Chiles also captivated the audience with a routine set to Beyoncé tracks, earning herself a spot on the podium alongside Biles and Andrade of Brazil.
