Savoring History: A Culinary Journey Through Time
The Cave Creek Museum will hold its annual spaghetti western fundraiser on November 12, 2024, from 4 PM to 7 PM at Harold’s Corral, situated at 6895 E. Cave Creek Road in Cave Creek, Arizona.
Celebrating its tenth year, this event promises an exciting evening, including a lively auction and a hearty spaghetti dinner. “The theme of the western event focuses on the diverse and fascinating history of the foothills region,” says Dave Griffiths, event co-chair.
Attendees can expect musical performances by local artist Kevin Causey, along with opportunities to win prizes and enjoy special appearances. Proceeds will support the museum’s educational programs, exhibits, and preservation efforts. The dinner menu features spaghetti and meatballs, fresh garden salad, garlic bread, and iced tea. Moreover, a silent auction will provide additional entertainment for guests.
Ticket prices are set at $38 for adults and $15 for children ages 5-11, with complimentary meals for those under five. Due to limited availability, tickets must be purchased in advance as none will be sold on the day of the event. Interested parties can acquire tickets through the museum’s website. For further inquiries, contact the museum directly.
The museum offers various sponsorship opportunities, with tiers named The Blondie ($1,000), The Tuco ($500), The Angel Eyes ($250), and The Man With No Name ($100), all listed on their website.
Founded 54 years ago, the Cave Creek Museum is dedicated to preserving artifacts that reflect the prehistory, history, culture, and legacy of the Cave Creek Mining District. It also provides educational resources and interpretive exhibits. The museum is located at 6140 E. Skyline Drive in Cave Creek, Arizona, and is open from October through May.
