Local club offers community events

November at the Arizona American Italian Club will be filled with activities designed to engage the community. Weekly events will include team trivia nights, bingo, karaoke, and open mic nights. Additionally, a “Booze and Brushes” painting party class will offer a creative outlet, while live music will provide entertainment three nights a week.

Launching on November 1, the club will support the Marine Corps Toys for Tots Foundation through a holiday giving program. Members and guests can donate new, unwrapped toys suitable for children from newborn to eight years old, with a particular emphasis on needs for those under three. Donation boxes will be placed around the club until December 16. Notably, toys resembling weapons are prohibited.

A community event is set for Saturday, November 2, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This festive day will feature a pet adoption event, a bake sale, and a holiday craft fair. The American Red Cross will facilitate a blood drive during the event. Individuals who donate will receive a $10 gift card and have a chance to win $7,000. Those interested in donating blood are encouraged to schedule an appointment by calling 800-733-2767.

Looking ahead to December, the club will host “Breakfast with Santa” on Saturday, December 14, with specific details to be announced on the website shortly. Additionally, area high school seniors seeking scholarship opportunities should inquire at their respective schools about the club’s scholarship program, available for those in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, and Glendale.

The Arizona American Italian Club is located at 7509 N. 12th St. For more information, contact 602-975-8294 or visit www.azaiclub.com.
