Lake Havasu City Traffic Stop Leads to Fentanyl Sale Arrest
Police in Lake Havasu City arrested a 47-year-old man after a routine traffic stop turned into a drug bust. The incident occurred on September 18 around 12:18 a.m., at the intersection of State Route 95 and Retail Center Boulevard.
During the stop, a police K-9 named Echo alerted officers to the presence of drugs in the vehicle. Following the alert, a search revealed approximately 23 grams of fentanyl powder, 230 suspected fentanyl pills, methamphetamine, and various drug paraphernalia.
Authorities have valued the fentanyl seized at around $3,500. The suspect, identified as Jeremy Daniels, now faces serious charges, including the transportation of narcotic drugs for sale and possession of dangerous drugs. He is currently held on a cash bond set at $50,000.
