Introducing the Arizona Media Icon Lunch: Nominate Your Favorites for 2025 Now!

The Arizona Media Association and the Arizona Local News Foundation have announced the upcoming Arizona Media Icon Lunch, scheduled for April 22, 2025, at the JW Marriott Camelback Inn in Scottsdale. This reimagined annual awards event aims to honor excellence within the Arizona local media landscape.

During the event, the 2025 inductees into the Arizona Media Hall of Fame will be celebrated. The Hall of Fame recognizes media professionals who have made significant contributions to Arizona’s media industry, requiring at least 20 years of media experience, with a minimum of 10 years in leadership roles within the state. Historically linked to the Arizona Newspapers Association and the Arizona Broadcasters Association, this year’s awards will unify and highlight achievements from television, radio, print, and digital media.

Nominations for both the Arizona Media Hall of Fame and the newly established Arizona Media Lifetime Service Award are now open. This Lifetime Service Award acknowledges individuals who have devoted at least 35 years to local media, with a minimum of 15 years in Arizona. Candidates may include various professionals such as account executives, IT specialists, or support staff. Both nomination forms can be accessed online, and the deadline for submissions is set for November 1, 2024.
