Gunfire Erupts at Arizona Park, Suspect Apprehended

Witnesses reported a gunfire exchange between two pickup trucks at the south end of Mountain Valley Park in Prescott Valley, Arizona. The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. — The Prescott Valley Police Department quickly responded to the scene following the report of shots fired. Authorities confirmed that the gunfire took place between the basketball courts and the dog park.

According to witness statements, a red pickup truck fled the area before police could arrive, with some individuals also seen escaping on foot.

Law enforcement successfully identified all individuals involved in the gunfire exchange. One man was taken into custody, and police assured the public that no injuries were reported, nor is there an ongoing threat.
