Decade of Dental Dedication: Celebrating 10 Years of Exceptional Care

Dr. Rishi Popat and his wife, Bansi Popat, celebrate 10 years of service to the North Central community alongside their children Aashna and Aaria.

Popat Orthodontics & Madison Pediatric Dentistry in North Central is marking a decade of delivering quality dental care. Founded in 2014 by Dr. Rishi Popat and Bansi Popat, the practice, located at 635 E. Maryland Ave., specializes in both orthodontics and pediatric dentistry.

Dr. Rishi Popat, a native of North Central Phoenix, is a Harvard-trained orthodontist known for his focused approach to patient care. His dedication is reflected in the positive outcomes achieved by his patients. Additionally, Dr. Popat holds a position as assistant professor of Surgery at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix, where he co-directs the Oral Health Initiative. His wife, Bansi Popat, enhances the practice’s efficiency with her Harvard MBA.

Dr. Popat’s journey into orthodontics began at the age of eight, inspired by a family friend who invited him to experience a day in their orthodontic practice. “It is personally satisfying to diagnose and create custom smiles tailored to each patient’s needs,” he remarked. He expressed gratitude for the community’s support over the years and emphasized the practice’s mission to alleviate dental anxiety.

The couple has two daughters, Aashna, 10, and Aaria, 6, who often assist at the practice after school, contributing to a family-friendly environment. Over the past decade, the practice has expanded its offerings, including a comprehensive range of orthodontic treatments: traditional metal and ceramic braces, and Invisalign options for all ages. The facility features advanced technology such as digital X-rays and intraoral scanners, ensuring top-tier patient care. Young patients enjoy watching their favorite Disney movies during treatments, thanks to overhead TVs.

To celebrate its 10-year anniversary, the practice is offering complimentary Invisalign consultations for teens and adults, along with free tooth whitening upon completing orthodontic treatment through the end of the year.

Community involvement remains a core principle for Popat Orthodontics & Madison Pediatric Dentistry. Over the last decade, the practice has contributed more than $125,242 to community initiatives, providing sponsorships, donations, and pro bono treatments for families facing financial difficulties.
