Highlighted by intense competition, this week’s action featured a riveting clash between top teams from 4A and 3A. A wide receiver also set a new record, making headlines along with various cross-region battles in 6A.

The Game of the Week was a nail-biter, with Arcadia edging out Benjamin Franklin, 27-26. This matchup received substantial support, garnering nearly 73% of over 9,000 votes in the weekly poll. Both teams fought hard, and just like last week, the outcome was determined by a single point.

In a show of dominance, Liberty Lions remained undefeated (3-0) after defeating Mountain View 49-20. Head coach Colin Thomas has his sights set on another championship season as his squad exhibits formidable skill similar to last year’s Open Division winners.

Brophy Prep also maintained their perfect record, downing Centennial 28-14. This victory reinforces their candidacy for the Open Division and further enhances their playoff credentials.

Perry High School is now 3-0 after overcoming Queen Creek with a score of 21-12. This win sets the stage for an exciting upcoming matchup against Brophy Prep.

Notre Dame Prep celebrated a strong performance against Millennium, winning 44-24. Notably, wide receiver Cooper Perry set a new school record for receiving yards during this game, highlighting individual talent in the midst of team success.

A couple of notable wins also came from ALA-Ironwood and Cesar Chavez, as both schools showcased their strengths with scores of 35-12 and 52-7, respectively. Observers gathered in West Valley to catch the action live.

In the Fever Spotlight, Jessica Slaughter, head coach at Gila Ridge High School, made history as one of only three women to coach a high school football program in Arizona, inspiring future athletes.

Deer Valley continues its impressive run, remaining unbeaten (3-0) after defeating Greenway 28-25. Their strong start this season is being closely monitored by fans and analysts alike.
