Brew raises awareness, dollars for nonprofit

In a meaningful initiative for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Huss Brewing Co. is teaming up with Upward Projects and Rudy’s Real Texas Bar-B-Q to support local nonprofit Wigged Out. Throughout October, a portion of the sales from Huss’ latest brew, Pink Pineapple Haze, will directly benefit Wigged Out.

From October 1-31, participating locations across the Valley will contribute to this cause. For every pint of Pink Pineapple Haze sold, Huss, Upward Projects, and Rudy’s will donate $1; $2 will be donated for each pitcher and 4-pack sold at Huss locations; and $1 from each can sold at the four Rudy’s venues will also go to the nonprofit.

Upward Projects plans to showcase Pink Pineapple Haze at its Joyride Taco House, Windsor, and Federal Pizza locations. Additionally, the trio will host a special pop-up event with Huss Brewing Co. on October 2, from 4-6 p.m. on the Joyride Central patio.

Pink Pineapple Haze is crafted with a delectable blend of pineapple and prickly pear puree, combined with El Dorado and Azacca hops. This combination results in a unique flavor profile that promises an explosion of tropical fruit punch, designed to delight beer enthusiasts.

Wigged Out focuses on providing financial support for individuals in Arizona needing wigs and head coverings due to medical-related hair loss. By collaborating with reputable wig boutiques throughout the greater Phoenix area, they help clients access quality, well-fitting wigs, empowering them during challenging times.
