AZ Governor’s Youth Commission Welcomes New Appointees
John Davis, a high school senior known for his academic excellence and community service, has been appointed by Governor Katy Hobbs to both the City of Mesa Youth Action Fund and the Arizona Governor’s Youth Commission. The decision reflects his unwavering dedication to making a positive impact on his community.
At just seventeen, John Davis has already founded The Love John Project, an initiative providing clothing and food to underprivileged families throughout the year. This project showcases not only his compassion but also his leadership skills.
Maintaining a GPA of 3.5, Davis exemplifies a strong work ethic and a passion for learning. On campus, he serves in multiple roles, including Vice President of the Black Student Union, Para-Helper for Unified Sports, and a player on the Varsity Basketball team.
John plans to further his education at Morehouse College, where he will major in Business and City Planning. His academic and extracurricular achievements demonstrate a commitment to both personal growth and community betterment.
