Nominations open for Athena Awards

Hillary Walsh, founder and lawyer at New Frontier Immigration Law, recently received the 2024 Athena Young Professional Award. Shannon Clancy, CEO of St. Vincent de Paul, earned the Athena Award in the public sector, while Jenny Holsman Tetreault, vice president and associate general counsel at TPI, was honored with the Athena Award in the private sector. This year’s awards were recognized at a ceremony hosted by the Greater Phoenix Chamber.

The Greater Phoenix Chamber is currently accepting nominations for its 2025 Athena Awards program. This initiative aims to spotlight the remarkable achievements of businesswomen in the Greater Phoenix region.

Nominations will remain open until Friday, June 27, at 5 p.m. Interested individuals can submit their nominations via the Chamber’s official website.

The Athena Award honors women who exemplify leadership in their professions, contribute to their communities, and mentor the next generation. Each year, the awards commend three outstanding women who have not only excelled in their fields but also fostered development within their communities.

The latest award recipients will be unveiled during the 38th annual awards ceremony on November 13 at the JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge.
